Passion, commitment, responsibilities, the desire to commit through and for football: the referee is, like the players, passionate about the game. In order to officiate , you must be a member of a club or independent, follow an initial 24-hour training course and validate it with a first written theoretical exam. In case of admission, the referees are evaluated on the field during the first matches for which they officiate. The referees also have the advice of a godfather or godmother, who accompanies them on the first meetings and monitors their progress.
